Developing in-house capabilities to deliver change successfully
We were approached by Changefirst to redefine how their business is viewed online, with the goal of making them more accessible to all types of clients. We were asked to clarify their service proposition in a streamlined approach, working with existing branding influences and enhancing their visuals.
Our initial meeting with Changefirst’s consultant discussed a want for a drastic change to their site’s layout, architecture and UX. Through taking guidance of direction from their consultant, we spent a vast amount of time thoroughly planning the site’s new structure to ensure a smooth transition.
Throughout this period we discussed and identified Changefirst’s target audience, allowing this to help guide our design selections throughout the process.
Design & UX
The chosen approach was to simplify the site into two key areas, focusing closely on the UX of both. We designed the main promotion area as a single page site which covered the core sections outlined within the planning stage – we kept design simple so as to maximise engagement across all platforms.
From here, we revamped the deeper sections of the website which focussed more on content strategy. We designed the “Knowledge Centre” to be accessible for clients through filtering options on the front-end, whilst ensuring ease of use from a client-management level for regularly updating content.
Lastly, we migrated all content from the existing website and worked closely advising on options to ensure SEO was maintained.
